この度「世界環境デー」を記念し、またコロンビア外務省の海外での広報活動の一環として、駐日コロンビア大使館より生物多様性をテーマにしたコロンビアのドキュメンタリー「コロンビアBIO：タカラクーナ」の上映会にご招待をいたします。
国連環境計画（UNEP）は1974年より6月5日を「世界環境デー（WED: World Environment Day）」として制定し、毎年この日を祝うように促しています。この記念日を通じて各国政府、民間企業や市民全体に働きかけ、環境保全に対する意識と行動を変えることを目的としています。 この活動のひとつとして、日本、マレーシア、シンガポール、韓国に駐在するコロンビア大使館は今回の「コロンビアBIO：タカラクーナ」の上映会を企画し、地球上の生物多様性と人類のよりよき将来について話し合う機会を提示したいと考えました。
コロンビアBIOはコロンビア国内の生物多様性の保全・保護と持続可能な利用についての知識を深め、広めるために科学技術、イノベーション省により立ち上げられたプロジェクトです。タカラクーナはコロンビアとパナマの国境を分けるダリエン地峡の最も標高の高い、ウラバ・チョコアノという場所に位置する地域です。本作「タカラクーナ」はその地域を生物学者たちが探索し、中米と南米の中間に生息する生態を調査する様子を記録したものになります。
この上映会にはアレクサンダーフォンフンボルト生物資源研究所の元館長であり、現在EAN大学の学長を務めるブリジット・バプティステ先生、そして本作を監督した映像作家、ジャーナリストのパトリシア・アジャラ氏にもご参加いただきます。ご参加にあたっては以下のリンクからご登録をお願いいたします。
