The Pacific Alliance, comprising Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Chile, was established in 2011. Since then, the block has made very successful progress in strengthening integration through free trade within the region and speeding up the incorporation of new associated member countries, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Singapore. The Alliance has also agreed with Mercosur countries in an effort to develop even a larger free trade area in Latin America.
In this seminar, we have invited the ambassadors and chargé d’affaires ad interim from the four countries to tell us about the on-going development of the Pacific Alliance and the extended relations Japan in future.
